Diagnostics & Procedures

Our fetal surgery team, led by fetal surgeon Timothy M. Crombleholme, MD, includes pediatric and fetal surgeons, MFM specialists, fetal and obstetric anesthesiologists, Level III obstetrical nurses and a dedicated operating room fetal nursing team who, together, perform the full range of procedures to address fetal anomalies. The team has a dedicated facility at Children’s Hospital Colorado, within the Colorado Institute for Maternal and Fetal Health. Equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and fetal surgery resources, the facility is specifically designed and built for performing fetoscopic surgery, open fetal surgery and EXIT procedures.

The Colorado Fetal Care Center (CFCC) offers the full spectrum of diagnostics, multi-disciplinary consultation and Maternal Fetal interventions.  Your baby’s condition and diagnosis will guide our plan for the appropriate diagnostic tests and consults to achieve your and your family’s expectations and help facilitate an optimal outcome.
